The actual computer itself has been great and constitute a first Inspiron that powered by Core 2 Duo processor. The look of the laptop is not as great as some of HP ones but the build of the laptop is very solid and compact. The lid is held firmly in place and easy to open and close. The keyboard is placed at a fair distance from the LCD. The protection on the bottom is obviously good for safeguarding from drops and bumps when the notebook is being carried. The hard drive has shock absorbers so that during a drop situation there's a good chance your hard drive will survive and data is preserved.
